I noticed that I have had phases lately. Right now the current phase is bags.

Made 10 or so of the square and have just switched to circles.

Do any of you do this?

Of course, for me it is hats right now, Last winter and spring it was cowls, mitts, and hats to match.

I've had three different hat 'phases'.
The first was ear-flap hats; made 27.
The second was plain knitted beanies; made seventy-odd.
The third was plain crocheted beanies; made 45.

Sometimes, a 'bug' just bites and the large projects get pushed aside for 'later'!

Have fun making bags!

I knit and crochet. Lately, it's Fair Isle and cables in knitting. Amigurami and flowers in crochet.

I am a Granny, the mind boggles at the 'square Bottom Bag!'
I have enough bags under the eyes, never mind the square bottom!
However I do love the bag you have made.

I do knit in somewhat of a phase, if I find a pattern I like, I will make quite a few of them before moving on to something else.

The bags are easy peasy to make. I was thinking about putting together a quick tutorial or two and popping them up on the website within a week. The tutorials take longer to make than the bags. :D

Had a biopsy on my throat, and the wonderful lady and her DH not only drove me to hospital, but stayed the whole time, and drove me back home!! So I had to do something for them. She mentioned that sometimes she gets chilly b/c of the conatant AC we need here, so I made them each an afghan. So, now I'm on an afghan kick!! Halfway through with my radiation treatments, and they always walk next door to see if I'm OK---hmmm, if they keep being nice I don't have a clue what else to make!! LOL

That would be great! I think I'd enjoy making these square bottoms or not!
Sorry if I made you spew your coffee.

Would like to venture into Amigurami (have even considered doing some basic origami with knit fabric after seeing the special on PBS) but went whackodoo back in the day of hippies with flowers--got burnt out on that since I didn't inhale.
