It's a way of knitting in the round with a circular needle that I haven't mastered yet. Welcome from Tennessee ~ :-D

So nice to see someone from back home. I lived in Newport but worked in Jamestown and No Kingstown. I love Swansea! So happy to see you attempting Magic Loop, I have retired all my DPs (except for two for I-cords) and use Magic Loop for everything. Welcome !!!!

I have a quick knitting needle question for anyone. Is Magic Loop, a way of knitting with circular needles, or is it a unique circular needle?
Thank you!!

Welcome from West Virginia, I just started my first pair of socks and I'm learning along with the YouTube videos from KnitFreedom for Toe Up Socks 2 at a time with Magic Loop.

Originally, I felt that way about dpns too but now use them even for straight knitting patterns. They just seem so much less stressful on my arms and neck. The videos really teach you how to do magic loop. Have fun.

Thanks everyone, I will be getting a much longer circular needle. I also checked out YouTube, lots of good videos. I always feel as if I am holding a live tarantula with dp needles. 😁

Oh, how I can relate! That comment made me laugh. Double pointed needles pushed me to those little 9" and 12" circulars, which I would take any day over those tarantulas!

Welcome from Houston!

I tried for the longest time not to let those needles get the best of me. However, I always wound up twisting the yarn on one or two or all of them. I mean really, 4 little needles had me beside myself. Thank goodness for circulars!!

Good Morning Oklahoma. Our weather reports have shown such devastation in your state. I hope better Spring weather I headed your way. I live in Southeastern Massachusetts, where we have a drought. So strange, after so much snow.
