Most uncalled for remarks. When my GS was this age he did the same. I gave him his own yarn. He's four and still enjoys playing with it on occasion
I do not like it when others are judgmental
Betting she has no children.
If she does I bet the grandkids don't have any fun there!
My theory on raising kids and doing crafts has always been why do it If you can't include them now and then and have fun!

It doesn't matter if she knew about Arthur's condition or not, her reply was totally unacceptable. Perhaps in future she will be careful in her responses.
I feel a little sorry for her as she appears to be a very sad person.

Oh dear ! How would children learn if not left to crawl/toddle around ? Arthur probably wondered what that yarn felt like and how was he to find out if he had left it alone ? Perhaps we should all knit squares to sew up into a straight jacket so he never learns anything !

Do admin. deal with issues like this? Has anyone reported this response at all? Whether they knew the circumstances or not is no excuse for unpleasant and dare I say spiteful retorts of this nature.

I cannot express in words how awful I feel about the stupid ignorant post. I feel sorry for her son as he must have had a miserable childhood. eneurian signature is correct, you cannot fix stupid and her comment was stupid.

Wow, just read the original post. To say that a two year old getting into something fun looking like yarn will end up in jail shows the sad mentality of the poster. Although I have not followed all posts about Arthur, I can say, having been a primary grade teacher for forty years, getting into interesting, fun looking materials is normal behavior for a child that age.

Why does everyone assume that because someone states their opinion they are sad? Maybe she had a son who was killed by a drunk driver. Why are people making assumptions they have no knowledge of? I'm not defending her but maybe walk a mile.

the response by Eneurian, is just so utterly ABSURD, it shouldn't receive any type of reinforcement. (even negative reinforcement is reinforcement). As Elsie said "Arthur does have agenesis of the corpus callosum, but even if he didn't, he's a 22 month old baby." You go Arthur!!!!!!

I'm not one for arguments, especially on here. Generally my feeling is that if I want to comment, I think first. I'd hate to hurt somebody else. On the odd occasion that I feel like saying something that may upset someone, I refrain.
And I've never knowingly posted anything that has upset someone.
However, this time I don't care if this upsets you, eneurian. You don't know my daughter's family. If you did you would know that her boys are extremely well brought up, well behaved children. Arthur does have agenesis of the corpus callosum, but even if he didn't, he's a 22 month old baby. Children get into mischief. That's what they do. With the prognosis given, I'm just very glad he is able to get into his mother's knitting, and I'm sure Corinne is as well.
You are entitled to your opinion, but I wanted you to know that this time your opinion has upset me.
By the way, I've put this on a separate post deliberately, and have decided to be open rather than sending you a private message also deliberately.

I loved the photo and Arthur is a beautiful little boy just wanting to do what his Mom is doing. I have read some really nasty post here, but nothing like this. She should be ashamed and how dare she write such a note. I didn't see the post until now.

Well, her own signature says "trapped in Florida" so that doesn't sound very happy. I looked back at some of her posts, & she explains she is trapped in FL because she doesn't have the means to get out. Also, all the posts I saw were very negative regardless of the subject. To me, it sounds like she is feeling miserable & that can lead one to "spread the misery". I'm not defending her either but I do feel bad for her.

Then if you feel bad for her why not reach out to her in friendship. You might be surprised by the response.

Wow! I'm speechless. When I saw the picture all I thought was how lucky I was that my 2 year old grandson hadn't done this to me (yet)! That's just the sort of thing all toddlers love to do.
I'm sure you are glad he can get up to all the normal mischief his brothers no doubt got up to before him!

Whether Enurian knew about Arthur or not, the comments were mean and not necessary.
