Sorry to pass on sad news but I don't think many people will be sad at the passing of Downton Abbey. The whole series was just tying up loose ends very upsetting. The last episode you could almost put the words n their mouth.

Gee, is this meant to spoil it for us in the US.

Not to spoil just to prepare you.

Well, whatever anybody else thinks I enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to the Christmas show. Predictable, but its only a tv programme after all.

I agree Sisters Use, although they have left possibly one loose end for the Christmas special.

I have read a lot about this programme but have never watched it - I like programmes that finish each time and seldom watch the ones that you HAVE to watch week in and week out. We are away too much and would miss a lot of episodes.

We have Downton on in the colder months here in the UK and it is on Sunday nights at 9,0,clock so we are usually at home then. I think that is only on for about 6 episode each year and if I miss any I record them. I hardly watch any tv but I do like Downton.

Glad to hear some of you enjoyed it-----now I feel better. Looking forward to seeing it but hate to see the series end.

I'm hoping that justice will finally come for one character. All the signs are there!

I have to admit Sunday night's episode was the best of the season. It made me want to see more but sadly nothing until Christmas.

Most people who watch Downton Abbey love it you could always have recorded it and watched it later
We have a Tivo box so we can record anything and also stop TV programmes we are watching if say we want to make a cup of tea that way you dont need to miss anything at all ! Best thing we have invested
in !
