I have ten balls, 50 grams each, of Schoeller and Stahl Lemur. It is a discontinued yarn and I cannot fine a pattern for it. Has anyone used this and, if so, for what type of project? Thank you.

Have you checked Ravelry for this yarn? Go to the tab for yarn & type in the name. Once it takes you there, check for projects made with your yarn. Ravelry is a world-wide site with thousands of patterns, both free & paid. You do have to join, but it's free.

Thank you for the tip. I just tried Ravelry but no patterns, just a few balls on sale from someone's stash. I tried yarnsub to find something similar but no luck.

Maybe you could look on Ravelry by yarn weight instead of name? That search might yield a few patterns for you

I am going to try sending a picture. It calls for 6mm needles.

Do an advanced pattern search on Ravelry for projects for super-bulky yarn and 760 yards.

http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/search#photo=yes&availability=free&language=en&yardage-in=600-750&weight=super-bulky&view=captioned_thumbs&sort=best

I found 447 matches, in knit and crochet. Any simple pattern, without cables or other embellishments would be best for that type of yarn.

Thank you. I found some pictures using similar looking yarn. It will be interesting to see how it knits up.

that is pretty yarn and a simple pattern would be best. It would make some cuddly scarves

That looks marvellous! And something I can work on in the car while we drive south next month. I will do a gauge and hope it will work. With an 8mm needle it will work up very fast. Thank you!

Yes, but it is a discontinued yarn. I'm going to try the vest pattern from Berroco that Laulette posted.
