Hi everyone, not posted for a while but, I have been lurking in the back ground. I haven't been well and work was up in the air as it is in the NHS, anyway, I have now retired and trying sort out my craft room as I now have the time and realised there's lots of items I had not posted. This is the first of many and hope you don't get bored!! Where I can, I will list the pattern info, if I have it still, sorry if I haven't. This first set of 4 pictures are of the very familiar cradle bag by Frankie. When I knit this item, it hadn't been posted before so, historic now ha ha. It was loved that much and my colleague wanted to give it a very special little girl who was poorly and I never took my normal pictures. These are what she took for me before passing the bag on.

Thank you Hilary4. To be honest, I just can't get my head around it yet!! I didn't want to finish yet as I loved my job but, health issues forced things a tad. I am sure once I get stuff sorted out and I get back into my craft stuff I will be ok.

Are these for professional knitters .
They are quite easy to do and you would only get a fiddley bit doing the short rows for the hood and the cord around the cradle edge. You can find loads of youtube tutorials regarding the knitted cord ect. Frankies patterns are very easy to follow. If you decide to do one, just get in touch if you get stuck, I don't mind helping if I can
