Our daughter loved Singapore and she stayed 4 nights there after the Marina Bay Sands Hotel had not long been opened. She had one night there just to say she had stayed in that hotel, the rest of the time she stayed in the cheapest but still nice, accommodation she could find.

I am so happy that KPers are visiting Singapore which is just a red dot on the world map . I live here , 20 years and counting and really love it here . You are visiting at a good time as its during Chinese New Year celebrations . A visit to Chinatown to see the lighting and decorations should be a must see . Do lmk if you need any help or information from me . Have a great holiday

I believe Singapore has the reputation of being a very safe place for anyone to visit - and I have also heard how spotlessly clean it is.
