I could do it with plenty of things to knit and the dogs with me, no problem then.

So long as I have a good library of books, though I do prefer my Kindel for traveling books are still best, and my knitting I would love to do it. That is if I didn't have two dogs that I just couldn't leave for that length of time.

I'd do it. I could take my crocheting and my camera. I imagine that the surrounding woods would present some interesting photography shots.

In a heartbeat! Books, knitting, cross stitching, just sitting and doing nothing. Sounds like heaven to me.

Depends on if its summer or winter. Ideally, I would want to be there in the fall. Our ancestors were a hardy lot weren't they? Winters can get chilly when the fire goes out while you're sleeping. It does look fun and cozy.

I have a question.. Does it come with a hunting lease?/rights...Depending on the season vegetation worth eating might be scarce... and no electric usually means no refrigeration. I.E. no keeping meat for any length of time... and if not is there fishing? crawdads? I could live without electric for the most part. and I can take batteries and solar chargers for some little toy, And Running water is not really a necessity, but I refuse to eat nuts for my only protein for a month... I guess if it came with a stocked pantry with a few smoked meats, or jerky I'd get along okay. Or if it was summer and someone else put in the garden... my thumb is not green. And yes there would have to be craft supplies... tools, materials and a way to store the finished products... for say candle making...basketry, spinning, weaving, knit and crochet, woodworking. and I'd have to bring many books.. that's what would be in the cabin. Well unless it was raining/snowing... sorry for the length of this... day dreaming here......

Have to add... I'd need to bring my animals.. that would give me the protein as I have chickens (dogs & cats, but I'm out of rabbits at the moment). Still would need to hunt to feed the dogs? The cats will hunt for themselves, without people complaining about missing livestock...

I would go in a heartbeat if I could just take my dog with me, the money at the end would be irrelevant, the peace would be payment enough.
