Good evening dear KPers,
Has anyone used the DK ICE natural cotton from Yarn Paradise? It's on sale now for $1.49! How is it to work with? Is it soft?
Shipping is from Turkey.

Thank you for your help,
Dianne

I have DK ice yarn but it's acrylic. I haven't used it yet but it's very soft. In fact I will be making slippers with it from the workshop starting next week.
I bought the yarn because the price was so good. I think it came with 4 skeins in the pack. If I remember correctly I got the yarn very quickly. Hope this helps.

Is it machine washable? Dryer?

Good question-- it doesn't say. This is the description:

Fiber Content: 100% Cotton
Needle Size: 4 mm. / US 6 Weight Type: 3 Light: DK, Light, Worsted
Ball Weight: 100 gr. / 3.53 oz. Ball Length: 180 m. / 196 yds.

I sent a message to the company.

By any chance, is it the Natural Cotton currently on sale? If so, can you check the label for washing instructions and share the info?

Thank you

I was going to get the ice yarn from yarn paradise but the shipping charges were enormous, you can get that yarn from other companies and yes, more expensive , but still less than what u would spend for all those shipping charges

I hope you will join our workshop (crochet croc top house socks) it starts on Tuesday this week. There is an information (first topic on the workshop section) lots of interest - think about joining us!

here is the link for the information conversation and we will announce there when the workshop opens. there is no charge and the teacher drops by to answer questions.

We've had this discussion many times on this forum, and in the final analysis after all charges were computed, we have always decided that you cannot buy the same quality yarn for less anywhere. This is true whether you are having it shipped to the US the UK, Australia or South Africa; and, you receive the yarn within 3 or 4 days. You can do your own searches here (SEARCH in top line on this page) and you will find that this is true.

Order once and see for yourself.
