The other day I was knitting a shawl almost to the end. Set it down in the knitting bag and closed it. Some how a cat paw founds it way in and decided it should come out and be undone. I was fit to be tied. I had just been telling my gentleman friend about life line, which I had learned from this great group of amazing artists of yarn and such. He had asked me why I had purple yarn through out my cream colored shawl. When he saw what the boys had done, he wanted to know if I would have to start over. I said no - cause I could just frog to my next life line. Still not sure which one is the no good rotten scoundrel. I have a feeling it was the lilac point (Tipsy) and the seal point (Sailor) was the mastermind.
Oh those critters! You've got to love them but sometimes . . . . Yea for having the forethought to do a lifeline. Probably saved some kitty lives as well as your project. ;-)
Cats conspire. They're beautiful but they look like they're in cahoots, planning their next special ops assault. Love cats but they can be real stinkers.
They sure are adorable "scoundrels"........
Just learning about lifelines and their value. You've just reinforced that and might have just saved my puppy's life. LOL
I am also a believer in life lines. I always put one in when I knit in one of my groups. That way talking doesn't mean having to pull out my project!
Hate to point out that those kitties even LOOK guilty! Glad you had the line in!
A tremendously great "ounce of prevention" well worth the time spent.
I, too, learned about lifelines through this group. I'll certainly be using them in my next big project. I frogged enough in my last one to have made a separate garment!
Even if you could figure out which one, would it matter?😁
Have no way of knowing how I did s triple entry
Ha. I was reading fast and eventually misread 'lifelines' as 'felines'. Lie-felines!
