This is my latest work in knitting.
Adorable! Love the bears!
You know, we generally see charity knitting done with simple, basic patterns and inexpensive yarns--even blended stash from small ends of skeins.
Yours look beautifully custom-made for a client who will pay you handsomly for the finished work. Your yarn, your patterns--and even your embellishments--look specially chosen with someone special in mind.
Congratulations on such lovely work!!!
Beautiful work, adore the bears. Is this a bought pattern or a made up one. If biught is there any chance you could share the pattern number.
they are wonderful! Love the bears and the hat...all of it is special. You are making a child feel special and that is such a blessing for them. bless you!!!
It is a bought pattern! It is in swedish, but I think the yarn is german.
Your fabulous colors make for such a cheerful and adorable sweater and hat set. What beautiful work and how wonderful of you to share your talents with the little ones. Your bonnet is such and heirloom piece. I love the pattern.
BTW - My birthday is St. Lucia's Day and I am sitting here catching up on KP as I finish the last cup of Glogg from yesterday's Thanskgiving feast and contemplating putting up the tree. I am half Swedish.
Thank you for sharing your amazing needle work
What you have knitted for charity is lovely, someone will feel very special wearing that. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone that can spend their time doing beautiful things and giving to others.
So pretty, you did a great job!
Welcome to the forum!!!! you do GREAT work. The sweater and hat is fantastic!!!
I grew up in Denmark but have lived in California for a very long time. I still miss my homeland and Christmas but not the cold and long dark night you have right now.
Welcome from NY. That is one of the cutest sweater sets I've ever seen. I try to make my charity items nice, but your set is above and beyond. You put a lot of time and work into your work and will surely bring warmth and smiles to the child and his/her parent. Bless you for making such a special set.
Very beautiful, what a great job youve done
