Does anyone using the Knit Companion app have a problem seeing their Ravelry library in the app? I was up until 3 am trying to figure out why my ravelry library did not show up when I clicked on the Ravelry PDFs tab. Dropbox works fine. Please help. I am so frustrated.

I have never tried to link to my Ravelry library to KnitCompanion. I use DropBox for the patterns I'm actively working on. There is a group on Ravelry for KnitCompanion, that might be a good place to ask this.

I use Knit Companion and when I click on Ravelry pdfs they all come up. This is a dumb question, but I'll ask it anyway. Do you have pdfs saved in your Ravelry account? I'm stumped as to why this is happening to you because I don't remember doing anything special to connect the two.

I did try the group about 1 am. LOL Couldn't find the answer to my question. Thank you for the suggestion.

I went to my Knit Companion.
Click on settings ( gear in upper right corner)
Then at the bottom, I clicked on 'sync'
This opened a page that let me check what my Knit Companion was allowing.
I made sure my Dropbox and Ravelry were turned on.
Then I clicked ' reload embedded designs'
This took me to Ravelry, which then asked if I would allow Knit Companion to view my files.
I clicked 'authorize' then I could see my Ravelry files in Knit Companion.

Oh! Then when I went to open Knit Companion again, I clicked on PDF's, then at the bottom I clicked on the Ravelry box. It asked me again to 'authorize' and it loaded all of my Ravelry files.

Yes, I have patterns saved in Library and Favorites. I never had this problem before. Thank you.

thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I should have logged on to KP and ask my KPers for help. I might have gotten to bed at a decent hour. LOL

I noticed in the App Store that there was a fix update in October for a bug that made your Ravelry library look empty. Maybe you didn't get the update.

I just download in Ravelry and then open it in the Knit Companion app rather than import the PDF

Could you please explain how to do that?

I saved the pattern in my library. When I click on pattern, it takes me to knitty.com where the pattern and directions for knitting are located. I still can't figure out how to get the pattern in my KC app.

OH! That's different. That means the pattern isn't really in your library because it's not a Ravelry PDF download. That's why you can't access it

What pattern is it? we can verify this is the case but it sounds like it.

"in your library" means that you have access to the pattern. Not everything in your library is a ravelry download. For example I have all my books listed so patterns from those books show up as "in my library" because I own them, but I can't download because it's in a book on my shelf, not a pdf in Ravelry.
