just finished watching this new video from the Knit Tank.. I'd love to know wh
at machine this is: make & model? For some reason it fascinated me.

I think I've figured out a possible way to do this on the flatbed as a hat For a child.. Gonna work on that this week.

She says its a "Duo", maybe this is a model made by Passap as several have mentioned.... A "Passap Duo" then......though I have never seen one up close....

After looking on the web, I am guessing, but it could be a "PASSAP Duomatic 80 - Punch Card Knitting Machine (DM80)"

I hope this helps further....

She is apparently making "Cosies" for boiled eggs!!

regards

Andy

PS. The lady on the video speaks a very clear German, she is a delight to listen to!!

hello
she is knitting 'eggs warmer' on a passap duomatic 80 with rabbit ears.
she says you can use HX setting for the setting rows then round knitting cx/cx (44 stitches in total; 22 on each bed)
stitch size is 5 1/2 for socks yarn. 70 rows until you reach the separation for the ears. if you do not want to make ears you can end your 'hat' there. (place every other stitch onto the adjacent needle knit 2 rows and then cast off with double eye needle.)
for the rabbit ears you need to use the pushers again and work on half of the needles (HX setting again with pushers under each needle of the part you are working on, no arrow needed, it is good to add some weight by manually pulling the work down or use some weights.
cross the middle stitches to avoid getting a hole between the ears. (4:53 mn on the video)
ears height : 40 rows. (here I am not sure because she speaks about rows but it looks like rounds ie 20 rows, compared to the head's size this would make sense to translate it by rounds and not rows.
then decrease with your double eylet tool on each side of the ear every 2nd row (4 rounds ???) until there remains 3 stitches on each bed. do not forget to bring the pushers to non-working position for each decrease. knit 2 more rounds (4 rows) and cast off.
for the second ear you do not need the pushers and can knit with CX/CX.

hope this quick translation can help
happy knitting
