Quick & easy bulky hat. Pattern designed with Brother 390 9mm mode. I took the scribbled notes of the one I made for Nick last year and refined it to a thicker ski hat. This is one I did up with Red Heart #4 yarn. Pic refused to load. Will try again later. Sigh.

Thank you very much for the pattern -- gonna try that one today!
Thank you! Can't wait to try this out!
Thank you so much Marge - your patterns are lovely!
What tensions would be used on a Brother 260? (Mine doesn't go up to 13)
I use a # higher than the main just to give it an easier crease in the fold of the hem. I don't know the # dial configuration for your machine, sorry. But you could hand manipulate that row on your machine, making the stitches longer
I made one yesterday -- thank you again!! It turned out very good - I did it on my Brother 260 - I used main tension 8 - then used TN 10 on the fold line.
I make hats for charity; and, this is a great, quick knit. By sharing this pattern, you are helping knitters and also ones in need of a warm hat.
I hope you are having a magnificent day today ---

The orange & black hat grew legs & walked while I was out of town. BUT, here is a pick of one I'd taken off the machine shortly before I left. It's not sewn up yet.
