I chose this batch from a friend who was getting rid of her sister’s 65 tub stash. Her sister is now in assisted living and my friend is not a knitter. She has given a lot away to thrift stores and I was so grateful to be able to pick from the last 9 tubs
I am so jealous! What a gift. You are so lucky. It would take me a month just to decide what to use first. Have fun and count your blessings.
Oh wow you have some yummy scrummy yarn, how sad for your friends sister.....I would make her something special ☺
BIG, BIG, WOW!! Lucky you ! Nice colors, and this should keep you busy for a while,
I really love the red yarn on the right side....wow
What a wonderful gift. I know you will feel blessed every time you make something from it. It should remind us that if we don't use our stash, someone else will one day.
Nice to see it go to a good home!
I don’t have or want a big stash so I’ll stay out of Steven B (lys). I’ll miss him. Maybe I’ll just go for the sales.
Wow! 65 tubs is a lot of yarn. You were given a lovely gift. Return the favor by knitting something for your friend and her sister.
My friend wants a couple of dishcloths. Her sister is still knitting with her early onset Alzheimer’s. I think I’ll bring my friend some dishcloths along with a hat for her grandchild
65 tubs, now I don’t feel so bad about my own stash. That was wonderful of her to give you your choices. Beautiful haul. Really sad too for the lady who now can’t knit. I like samdog13’s suggestion of making something for your friend and her sister. Have fun with deciding things to make. Wonderful.
