Yeah it works with no effort. Found a skein at Walmart and giving a try. 44 sts on size 7, K2 P2 across and every row. Fun to watch it happen. I wanted to try 88 sts, in the round, to see if a hat would come together? What do you think? Should I rip what I’ve done and try 88 sts?
Oh that is so cool, I am going to try that. That for the instructions.
Working in the round you would probably end up in a striped hat. I love your scarf.
I love it. I have some yarn like that. I'm going to try it. If you make a hat let us see.
I like the color pooling you have. Different from others but just as pretty and very interesting.
I also started one in the same colorway, and while it is making a pattern, not as precise as you're,nor the other lady who posted hers several days ago.Are you using the yarn from the outside of the skein or pulling from the inside?
Fun. It makes you want to knit faster to see the pattern develop.
How can you do this with only one skein of yarn?
I think you should keep going--it looks so great....we'll be eager to see the finished project--really nice!
I’m knitting from the inside. No idea how it works. Just dumb luck.
That is the way of "accidental pooling." Thanks for asking, and answering, the from inside or outside question. I think I may go look in my stash to see what I have and use your cast on of 44 sts and see what develops.
Here is a calculator I found online.
I am going to dig out some verigateds later and play around with it.http://plannedpooling.com
Love it, keep going, anxious to see finished project, see if you end up with the design element of a mess.
Wow, looks great! Great job! Now that I'm seen several of these scarves posted by KP members, I have to give it a try.
