I sat down to knit the multi-colored cowl with the needles that came with the yarn (a Darn Good Yarn monthly subscription box). The purple straight needles on the left side of the picture. The points are so long I found the needles impossible to use. I didn't feel like getting up (I did have catsonlap) so I reached into my knitting bag for my current project (Zombie Love Shawl on ravelry, a great pattern) and used those needles. Turns out they are size 10 and the project called for size 8. Oh well, the cowl is completed now, too bad. So I'm back to finishing the Zombie Love Shawl. :)

It’s funny how we don’t like to move a-sleeping kitty if we can avoid it. Boy they certainly have us wrapped around their paws😻

I love this -- I will now explain that I can't do this or that due to my diagnosed case of catsonlap. No cure has been discovered yet, but researchers will struggle on!

"I'd love to join you, but my catsonlap is flaring up, what a shame, please carry on without me . . ."

And that you made an artistic decision due to the malady just goes to show how resilient we sufferers can be!

You're a HOOT. Love the way you think outside the box. AND catsonthelap is a definite priority.

Catsonlap take priority.

Those are some very pointy needles. I could have used them tonight while doing a twisted rib stitch using sock yarn:-)

DOF (dog on feet) has a similar lack of cure. I sure hope they never find one. Animal love trumps everything!
