I thank those who replied to my previous question of where to find "The Rules". I have read them over carefully. There is a posting today and there have been a number in the past that relate to members posting things for sale where it is pointed out that they are not eligible to post ads because they are not "regular status" posters. I could not find that and any other limitations on who could post ads mentioned in the rules. My request now is can someone point me in the direction of where that rule is to be found? Thank you for any help.

Each section has rules that apply only to that section; it's the very first post on each section.

regular status has to do with how often and how many posts one makes. Don't post for a week or two and you will no longer show up as regular status. When you post more often you will get regular status back.

Jessica-Jean, thank you for leading me to exactly what I wanted to know. There are so may rules to this forum it is really something to keep track of them all. I so appreciate your help.

So many rules??
I found them logical and easily followed. I read them when I first joined, and have reread them periodically since then.

Jessica-Jean, I must apologize. I guess I am not as perfect as you. A snarky reply was not necessary.

I occasionally re-read them also. Just in case something has changed.

I'm sorry you took my reply as snarky. That wasn't my intention. If I were perfect, I'd have worded my reply more clearly, and you mightn't have misinterpreted it as snark.

A 'thank you' would have been better than a snide remark.

Read rules? That's like reading directions, right?

Just my opinion but that criteria is illogical. Just because I don't post something everyday should not take away my status. I'm on this board everyday I just don't have something to say everyday. I guess I need to post even if I don't have something to say.

I have to agree with you. Cause there's another rule somewhere that says not to post just for the sake of posting and to move your topic up the list. But yet they are also expecting you to post often.

Well, it's kind of a mute point, about having Regular Status since the Admin isn't around enough to enforce it. Has anyone seen Admin here since the first few days after posting his 'Mobile Redirects' post? Cause I haven't.
