Sybil R comes up with the most creative designs but the pattern instructions are very difficult to follow. I struggled with these for several months, also picked noro yarn because it was self striping, but a real mistake for this pattern. Hard to work with, see the individual stitches, tears often. Nevertheless, happy with the outcome and would probably do better when I try another of her patterns.

well done for persevering with the pattern, they do look complicated but I love that you've colour matched them so well.

WOW. Really beautiful!! I admire your talent!!
What is the name of the pattern? Would it be easier in a solid color and still look as fantastic as yours?
The colors you chose are all the colors that I love!!
Ok I admit that tears or not I have to try that pattern. Guess Iā€™m a glutton for punishment šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

they are called pieces of eight by sybil r and the thing that makes them interesting is the striation.

Gorgeous ! Love the swirling colours and the nice fit. I've been playing around with making fingerless mitts in tunisian crochet; and find the thumb area just too fiddly (even if I try doing the thumb in sc) so I just leave the thumb part off completely.
