Going through one of the few (ahem, many) project and other bags of yarn, I came across two lonely balls of Sublime Merino Silk DK. Needing a small filler project, I decided a small scarf that could cross over under the neck of a jacket would fit the bill. I had printed out this stitch pattern some time ago and thought now was a good time to try something new. Cast on 41 stitches, 5 for each seed stitch edge and 31 across the center for 3 repeats of the pattern. 5 rows of seed stitch for each end. Started Sat night and just cast off. Now deciding if I should block it or not. Really like the texture but blocking will make it longer/wider. What do you think I should do, leave it as it or block? Now that I see the pics, I see a few incorrect stitches on the right edge. Oh well!

Beautiful! I’m not sure if I would block it either. That might flatten the stitch pattern. IMO.

I don't see any "incorrect" sts. I MAY see a "design element" or so......

If you want it soft and fluffy around your neck under he coat, I would not block it.

If you want it wider/longer, maybe to wear a different way, then I'd block it.

You could always wear it initially un-blocked and decide later.

Looks great. Seed stitch is so easy to mess up by just one stitch. I don't see any messes🙂

Nice pattern! I would block it, but not aggressively, only to straighten out the corners but not to stretch it bigger, if that makes sense.

The pattern is beautiful. I would leave it unblocked. Just my opinion.

I love your seed stitch edges. Seed stitch makes it nice and neat. Love the pattern in-between also.
As others have already said, wear it the way it is and see if you like it that way or not. I tend to block most projects as it straightens out all my inconsistencies. I don't see them in yours.

If you block by pinning a wet scarf, you can try. If you do not like it, wet it again and just lay it out on a towel to dry and you are back where you started. Blocking it will show the design better, but the texture will change
It is your taste that counts.
Almost forgot, it is beautiful and such a rich color.
