You wouldn't by chance be in Gaylord would you? Or Frankenmuth?
Yarnfrog, we also love going to Kimballs, my husband and I will share a sandwich so we can have ice cream. Life is good :)
Ice cream year round in Michigan!
Also in New England! Ice cream is a treat all year round, no matter the weather! Yum.
I read that of all areas of the USA New Englanders eat the most ice cream. We love it no matter the season.
Only if it's Mooney's in Saginaw.
But here in St Louis MO - Ted Drewes is open all year. Best frozen custard in the world! No wonder it's been going strong since its Route 66 days.
I actually prefer to eat ice cream when it is cold out. Looks like you were all having a great time.
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream.
Looks like the fun bunch having a blast!
Yep - had to put the heat on for a minute last night - tomorrow it will be back to air conditioning. That's Michigan.
A few years ago we were visiting Michigan’s Upper Peninsula (which is on Canadian border), went into a tiny gas station store reputed for excellent scooped ice cream and ordered. The lady looked at us like we were nuts as it was about 10 degrees outside. We too eat ice cream ANY TIME :D!
LOL, you're like my one friend, I asked her why she doesn't smile for pictures, her reply, "I am smiling" she barely had up turned lips! Me I'm the opposite I go all out happy face!
Beautiful family there too!
Yeah, that weather could be Pittsburgh weather too. We went from 100 degrees to in the 50's. Of course we'd be right there with you eating ice cream! You only live once!
Last Wednesday it was 88 degrees. We went swimming in my sister-in-laws pool, beautiful sunny day. The next day the pool was shut down for the season by professionals who care for her pool. Ever since then it has been cloudy and rainy with temps only in the 60's!! Yes, only in Michigan would we have summer one day and autumn the next with nothing in the middle.
You have beautiful nieces!!! Love your smile too!!
Do you go out for ice cream and sit there in sweats to eat it when it's only 55'! I'm on the right, SIL in Yellow and the other two are my nieces. Niece on far left is 6" plus! All of us are over 5-8! And mark this down; I am smiling! Love those girls.
Yep, saw some folks in Charlotte just last night doing the same thing, lol.
I believe I know your location.
