Our neighbour’s dog would spend most of the day bouncing on the trampoline to see over their high fence and bark at anyone passing. Scared the pants off anyone walking past who was new to the area.

Our dog barks at anybody, but not bouncing on a trampoline.
If I'm outside, she's barking. People walking by ask me if she's
Secure. I answer yes and she's in the house.

I didn't find this particularly funny either. If someone has a problem with Trump's policies or actions they should address those issues. This seems more like mocking. While I am the furthest thing from a Trump supporter, perhaps if we stuck to actual issues, we might be taken seriously in our displeasure with him as a president. Serious critics don't resort to such juvenile tactics.

Sorry if you were offended. Personally, I found it funny because I had seen the original Buster video and thought this parodied it perfectly. I also post other parodies and will continue to do so because I have enough drama in my life so I have to distance myself from too much political angst. I want him out, also, but there's not anything that I, personally, can do to take him down.

Unfortunately when we chose to view serious problems in our government with humor, we lose the important perspective that we need to resolve these problems. Of course there are things you can do, urge your representatives to not support Trump's initiatives. Campaign for candidates that will work against policies that harm people, our environment, and relationships with our allies. There are a great many things that you can choose do that would be effective.

This isn't about trying to take anyone "down", it's about restoring decorum in Washington and respect for ALL citizens and visitors of this country.

I truly support YOUR initiative and efforts, believe me, I do. But I personally am distancing myself from the angst. I have WAY too much drama in my life to invite more into it. I am not a "people person"...meaning that I do not go outside my home to do much of anything except doctor appointments and very little shopping. Yes, I can email representatives and candidates but, again, that would involve way too much seriousness and what I perceive as "angst" and I'm trying desperately to keep my blood pressure on an even keel...extremely hard to do with my family. Too many of my family are Trump supporters and I refuse to get into discussions with them about politics because it always comes to shouting and anger....and it once came to estrangement from very close family members. We have since made up but I refuse to go there again. IF I do the email thing, it would be on the "down low" and I would not campaign at all. But I steadfastly support and praise you and any others who DO put themselves out there for this cause. I would love to see decorum and respect restored but I don't think I'll see it in my lifetime...just a personal opinion.
