Hello dear KPers,

Does anyone have any suggestions, hints or recommendations, as I begin to research which one to purchase...? There are so many choices...

Thank you.

Where and how do you want to use it? At home, in the car? On a plane? There are so many types I would think how you plan to use it would make a difference.

At home, for sure...possibly, for travel also.

I'd like to use it to watch a dvd while I'm knitting and also use it to follow along a tai chi practice.

I guess any one that will free-stand would work. You want to keep propping it up.

Most lap tops have a dvd player if you have one of these. Make sure you get one with a large enough screen.

Make sure you read the reviews about them. There are so many he volume is so low you can barely hear the movie. Make sure it comes with headphones.

Check Goodwill. They get things from estates and they test them before selling. I have one from there and a tv for my office/craft room. Have had them for years!.

Do not buy the Craig brand. I tried 2 of them and they both damaged the dvd's.

I have now purchased 2 ONN 10" portable dvd players. I am happy with both. One I have in my bedroom, the other in my craft room to watch while knitting/crocheting. Cost under 100$.

I love my Sony that I purchased from Amazon. Use it constantly - so much better than using my large laptop and it is always with me when on vacation. I'll try to find the number and PM it to you.
