Windy on Lake Erie

The wind was around 40mph. today. It was all I could do to hold the camera still. I love the Lake like this. The roar of the wind & water; the air smells so fresh & clean. "Bracing" is a great way to describe it. Now, to get the pics to attach. Enjoy! I did.

Thanks for posting these photos. Too many people still have a negative idea of Lake Erie.

By the way, the coldest I have ever been was standing on a frozen Lake Erie. I like it better thawed!

That first one was facing west, where the sun still peeked through. Lake Erie is the shallowest of the five Great Lakes. So while it doesn't have the deep, cold water of Lake Superior, storms come up fast & the wave action can be ferocious.

Great pictures. We visit the Oak Harbor area frequently. Love it. (Except for the June bugs)
