Recently I've received daily sale emails, but this yarn caught my eye because the photo gives the impression it would knit up smoothly with good stitch definition.

If you have used it, did you enjoy working with it and did it meet your expectations?

While I'm here😄 what is your experience with their baby yarn?

I find the ice baby yarn very nice to work with.

I have not used the yarn, but if you expect machine wash ability, it does not say it is machine washable, so it probably is not. If you write them, they will answer you. I have ordered a lot of yarn from Ice and have always been satisfied.

It knits up nicely. I made a sweater for my hubby about 2 yrs ago and it still fits him well. I hand wash all of his sweaters and hand shape as it dries.

I have watched people talk about ICE yarns here for awhile. And looked at their site
It seems to me lots of times they (ICE) don't mention anything about laundering... at all.
Since this is 50/50 wool and acrylic, I would guess that it is machine washable.
Only swatching and test launder would give that info.
If you purchase and use it... I looked on Ravelry for ICE, worsted, wool and acrylic fibers only .... it is not listed. Please add it if you are so inclined.

I would assume hand wash, dry flat due to the amount of wool. I err on the side of caution and hand wash nearly everything..

I use a lot of ice yarn baby yarns ...they are lovely and soft and knit with a nice texture ...favourite is baby design...this knits with the impression of bands of flowers within the stripes....many colours too for Giles and boys
I hope this is of help.

I have made several baby blankets with the baby yarn and like it very much. It is soft, knits or crochets up nicely, and I have never, ever found a knot in any of the skeins up to this point.

I just received a parcel from ICE yesterday, I said to myself not to buy any more wool/ yarn till I have knitted up what I have got, that will take me an eternity. Now that I have been led into temptation I have just ordered the Baby design to knit something for my Granddaughter. Oh well I don't have any of that particular yarn.

I love the baby designer yarn it's like bernat baby jaquard but after paying for expedited shipping and not getting the expedited shipping I am not likely to order from them again in the near future.
