I agree but with matching spoons and screws what a lovely way to remember mom, aunt Jean or whomever!

What a clever idea! It's one of those ideas that stay in my mind, and now I'll be on the lookout for interesting spoons in thrift shops and antique stores. I need some drawer pulls and a spoon would be the perfect size.

Thanks for the idea. I have some of my mother's sterling and this would be a great way of keeping her in my kitchen. Such fond memories of us cooking together. It seemed the kitchen was the focus point of our home.

I wonder if you could use a 2 part epoxy and avoid the screws and staples?

My daughter's friend makes zipper pulls of the decorative ends of the smaller sterling spoons.

I like this idea more and will tell my daughter, who has just installed antique cabinets in her kitchen.
