Great idea. Looks lovely- and very useful. Did you use a bulky machine? Plain rib and Fisherman’s rib? I think I will try that too.
Mannie you right ..knit on the brother 260 and the Ribber..CO 25 St. 1x1 Rib 18 Rows at tension 2 ,than change tension to 7 and knit 30 Rows in fisherman rib,now back to tension 2 and 36 Rows of 1x1 rib ..again change tension to 7 and another 30 rows of fishermanrib one more change back to tension 2 and 1x1 rib knit the last 18 rows.....take of machine in your favorite way ..i double up my stitches on main bed ,and than i move stitches from ribber to mainbed onto the same needles as the other ones ..i now have 4 stitches on my needles and i hand knit those 12 stitches because that is just to much for my carriage..after that row just knit them or crochet them off
i dont see why not ..you would have to figure out how many stitches and rows..if i was you ,i would would knit it just the way it is written and than see what size comes out and than take it from there to increase to get your size ..it only takes about 15 min..to knit
