I dug through my stash for yarn to use for colorwork cowls as a way to practice my tension.

Based on the comments about the length and height from others who made the Oh Bee Hive cowl I chose to knit mine smaller. One repeat less than recommended for the length and one row less for the height of the bees, two rows instead of three changing the look of the finished cowl.
Rather than knitting two matching rows for the bees which I thought would look boring, I knit rows 16-30 from the second chart, completed the first chart, then knit rows 1-15 from the second chart, to stagger the bees.
Beautiful Work, pattern and colours.
Well done, they're fabulous.
Beautiful cowls. Now, you need to knit head bands and mittens to match!
