Can't find the yarn, which is too bad, not even on yarn substitute site.
However, the pattern is giving me fits!!
The list of stitches is pretty good, but what is: place MP in set up row?
Sizes 42 and 46cm
Measures size S (guess that means small) and is for size 42
I guess I can just wing it, but any help appreciated.

It looks like it might be a typo, and was supposed to say PM for place marker?

Does it make reference to markers in subsequent directions?

MP should be another "place marker". Size doesn't look terribly important - kind of a "one size size fits most" pattern.
As for the yarn, I think you can use any Sport weight yarn or maybe a little finer and adjust your needle size.

This is OMG gorgeous. This will be my stretch knit to try. Downloaded the pattern. Can’t wait to see what people tell you. Too bad the projects don’t let you see what people have done and what they say

Lovely pattern, have just downloaded it and now in my to-do list.

Definitely a typo and should read place SM (stitch marker)

I found several cotton yarns by different manufacturers called "Carribean Cotton" in a general internet search. As long as you choose the same weight, I don't see a problem.

Could it be knit "to slipped marker?"

Here is the yarn on Ravelry (you may already have seen this):

It looks like you could buy this yarn in Germany here:

What a nice pattern for the elderly or handicapped. Feels like a shawl but shouldn't slip off the shoulders.
Thanks,for posting the link.

R= row; K = knit, P = purl, SM= stitch marker, sSM= slip stitch marker RS= right side; WS=
wrong side , T&W= turn and wrap YO= yarn over; st(s)= stitch(es)

I'm in agreement that it is a typo and it should be SM. The abbreviations are somewhat confusing at first. I'm used to seeing PM - place marker, SM - slip marker. I don't see why the pattern has to be cluttered with the instruction to slip marker every time. A simple "slip markers as you come to them" should suffice.

Thanks for posting this. Strikes me as a comfortable shrug or near cardi with some interesting features. Looking forward to your project updates. Have saved to my library. Thank you and have fun!
