My sincere thanks for the hat pattern. I finally was able to download the pattern. By clearing "cache", there was no further problem. Bless you.

The pattern opened up quickly, and I have printed it so that I can work on it "in my free time!" It looks quite interesting.

Once you can see the pattern - move your cursor up and a gray bar should appear. On the right it shows 3 symbols - the first one is to rotate clockwise, the 2nd one is download and 3rd is to print

Hello All,

I have had hundreds of requests for the pattern of this hat, but here's the rub, although I have many skills, writing a proper knitting pattern for a design that just pops into my head is not one of them. I'm sorry it took so long, and for being so patient thank you. I am making the finished pattern available on the Loved and Found website...

I will answer your question before it is asked, no I will not be posting the pattern on the forum and I request that you do the same. The more people go to the Loved and Found website the better the chances are that they will get involved with the project. I thank you for your understanding. But please feel free to share the link

If you have questions concerning the pattern please IM me or contact me through the Loved and Found website. I will be happy to answer what I can. Please keep in mind that I am not very skilled in the writing out instructions, so if you have any insights, corrections or suggestions that would make the pattern easer to read and understand please contact me.

Thank you and enjoy the hat.

Hello All, br br I have had hundreds of requests ... (show quote)

I have tons of antique knitting books on my e-reader. Ive been wanting to type them out in "English" for a long time, some of the patterns I myself would love to do, but if only they were in proper form so as to be readable. It's not easy following antique patterns even if you know what the terms mean. IF- and that's a big if! I do re-write any of them, would you want those for the site? I think just one pattern alone would be some bit of work. These are the public domain patterns found on gutenberg, archive etc that are written in non-modern knitting terms. Some of the patterns are really exquisite.
