I hope someone can help me. You cannot find these in the stores anymore and I need a new one really bad. Does anyone know of a knit or crochet pattern for this floor duster? The medal bar inside the duster is a triangle shape (if that helps). Thanks for any suggestions....

I would look at pillow cushion patterns with all-over fringe.
It's basically a triangular pillow cushion and you already have the dimensions. I have several I use for hard wood floors and the best ones are made of 100% cotton. Never made one though. Good luck!

You could make single crochet to cover the bar, then either loop strands through the bottom and sides as you would for fringe, or attach multiple chains on the bottom.

Doing a search, here are a couple I think would work:

https://www.globalindustrial.com/p/janitorial-maintenance/sweeping/dusters/wedge-cut-end-dust-head-cttn-white-12 I think they are called wedge dust mops if you want to do more searching.

You don't say the name brand , if it is possible to see it on the duster or the handle maybe that would help also.Hope you find one that fits, I know how it is when you find something you really like, then it is no longer available. Good Luck in find the one you want.

Walmart has them online too.
Scroll down the page. There are several of them at various prices.
For some reason, it keeps going to page 2.
Scroll down to the bottom of the pate and select page 1.
Sorry about that.

here are mop covers but I don't see a triangle shaped one.

This one is a possibility for easily modifiying it into a triangle:

Once you get the bottom the right shape, you should be able to create a top that will work, or possibly a series of cross-cross strips to hold it on. THen use a loopy stitch on the bottom.
