My sister is going on a Caribean cruise next week.
She has MS and this cruise is geared toward MS patients. Classes, activities, etc. Many power chairs available for those who need one.
I am excited for her. In my opinion she deserves something special.
So big sister got busy. bamboo cotton yarn in a caribean blue.https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/leaf-and-lace-set
I like the leaf yoke on this baby sweater. I cast on enough to make adult size (112 st), 18 repeats, and knit in the round.
After the yoke was complete I changed to size 8 needles, increasing one every 10 stitches.
knit to 13 inches then devide for sleeves.
Sleeves, from under arm, 19"
Body, from underarm, 22"
Neck very large, picked up around and knit 1x1 rib on size 4 then 3 for 1 inch. Should have done a looser bind off, a little hard to get over her head but fits beautifully.
I purchased the yarn from ebayhttps://www.ebay.com/itm/New-100-Bamboo-Cotton-Warm-Soft-Natural-Knitting-Crochet-Knitwear-Wool-Yarn-50g/392009050582?hash=item5b458f69d6:m:m94sVvzrfjBPRZXPleKEXSQ&redirect=mobile

Beautiful! Love the color!
Very pretty color, especially for a cruise, along with a beautiful pattern!
Beautiful sweater for your sister. Hope she enjoys the cruise.
Very beautiful, wonderful job. Love the color. I hope she enjoys her cruise
Beautiful. You could undo the bind off row, tink one more row, and bind off with a larger needle. Or, undo the whole neckband and redo it with the larger needle.
