I reported it, the lot of the same, just typical, almost like a robocall, I think it's just auto hunting, for lack of a better word. Hopefully our members are smart enough to just report,

Have just reported them as spam, but it seems as if each has to be reported individually

When you see stuff like that just hit the report tab....you don't even have to start a topic as this has happened a lot in the past....maybe it's going to start again!

Admin has done something .... such topics do pop up but within minutes (there must be some software involved) they no longer show up in the list of topics for a section.
They do still exist... but one has to go look for the specific user name

Admin will remove immediately when "reported" but you have to use the Report Issue function, under the post.

Once you have used the “Report Issue” Button, there is no need to create a new topic, especially in Main. There are apparently automatic algorithms to recognize and hide the spam in the background.

Gee, after all this time, I'd never noticed the 'report issue ' choice. Thanks, someone, for pointing it out!!👍

There's an algorithm in the forum software that recognizes spam and places it into a folder, but this is not an instant function, it can take several minutes. This has been explained time and time again. Do nothing, the forum software takes care of it.

Thank you. And yet, when this is mentioned (nicely), to some , it is considered “nasty”.
