Barb,

Why are you abusing your knits that way? Jumping on it? Honey, if you have your own washer, put your washed items (yes, even non-superwash wools) in a lingerie bag and put it in the final spin cycle of your machine for a minute or so to get the water out of it. Things dry very quickly after this.
