I recently test knit the Cloud Gazer Shawl. It was a fun knit and I enjoyed the pattern. I think an adventurous beginner could knit this shawl. My yarn wasn't what it was supposed to be, so I'm planning to knit it again in a month or two.

I don't like crescent shawls with a bump in the middle. Any shawl that rides up the back neck really. Your knitting is lovely. Nice color transitions.

I knitted this shawl pattern twice. Nice pattern, easy to knit. However, I ordered the amount of wool the pattern called for but both times, I barely had enough to finish. For anyone planning to knit this shawl, I would suggest you buy an extra ball of yarn.

I think you might be confusing this pattern with another. This pattern was released less than 36 hours before you posted. I find it unlikely that you were able to complete two shawls in that time. Also, the pattern allows you to end after any WS row and suggests weighing the yarn to estimate when to begin the bind-off. If you did, however, purchase the pattern and manage to knit like the wind, I applaud you; I'm sorry you weren't happy with your results, whichever pattern you made.
