Jeopardy James has been replaced! Bested tonight by one smart female. So glad I saw that! I wish him well. The Tournament of Champions will be very interesting next time. King James moves on. Long live the new Queen!

I'm glad that I have been watching the show. What a great show that was tonight. As smart as she is, I don't think she will be a one day wonder, as the person who bested Ken Jennings was. We'll know tomorrow night. James has certainly been a great Champion. Susan

Wow, it hasn't aired here yet in California. Was hoping he would be ousted by a woman; but wasn't too hopeful. It was getting a bit boring to watch; since he was expected to win once he had enough money to make it a runaway game. ETA: Glad you posted; so will definitely be watching tonight...something to look forward to.

I didn't think. So sorry I spoiled the surprise. I just didn't think I was so pleased. I was a bit bored, too.

I apologize also. I was so excited that I wanted to add to charbaby's comment. Charbaby, is it possible to edit the title to add "Spoiler Alert!"? I guess not since there have been comments on the subject. Susan

I think he was beginning to get bored and didn't have the thrill of the chase anymore. We noticed he was backing off a little each day for the last week or so.

She’s smart...but he seemed very much off his game.

Being a "professional ... gambler", I think James knew by Final Jeopardy that he had been bested. He appeared very gracious in his loss. Great game.

By the way, I wasn't a bit bored. It was a very exciting three weeks.

Unfortunately on Google this AM they posted his loss. Apparently the show is taped. I was really PO'd when I saw this. They just had to report this before the show was aired.

Well, that stinks even worse than my spoiler! Glad I didn't look at Google this morning. He did seem tired tonight, without his characteristic intensity. Must be hard to sustain away from home & on a tv film set.

I tried. I don't know if there's a way to do so. But if there is I couldn't figure it out.

If he had wagered on final jeopardy as he did in the past, he would have won. Although the two people playing against him did pretty good.

I originally thought so too. But that young lady was ahead of him by Final Jeopardy. She wagered quite a bit (her whole stash, I think). So even if he did so too, I think she would have still come out ahead. Just my hazy recollection.

That just sounds mean spirited.
