Wonderful! Your house is beautiful! You will enjoy your craft/sewing room. The things we take for granted. God has blessed you with health and stamina! You pay for house insurance and they don’t want to pay. I am glad you stuck to your guns and the insurance company paid up. Enjoy your beautiful home! Thanks for sharing your story, very heartfelt. ;0)

I live here in Northern California and the fire in Paradise was horrific. No words. So thankful to 'hear' of a good outcome.

I'm so glad you fought the insurance company and that your lives are back on track. A few years ago 2 walls of our house were damaged by the fire next door. We had PVC weatherboards which melted. The insurance company was only going to replace the damaged walls and I said no way Jose, they wouldn't be able to match the other 2 walls. They ended up paying for all the walls. Your sewing room looks lovely.

Our family has also gone thru an entirely different type of tragedy. It is humbling to be on the receiving end of gifts, prayers and goodness. God is still good, the sun still rises and life goes on. Blessings as you settle in to a new normal and praying that as you look back you see you have grown stronger. May God bless you and your hubby as you settle in to your new normal. Nice craft room!!!!
