I just happened to look at my profile info at the top of a post and noticed that three days ago I passed the 7th anniversary of my sign-up date on this forum. Am now 87 and have been knitting since I was 8 years old when our second-grade teacher taught our entire class to knit 6-inch squares which she then sewed together to send to "our boys in the foxholes over seas."
I have learned more about knitting on this forum than I did in all the classes and projects completed during the almost 80 years prior to joining. May all of you be so fortunate.
Someone posted a link to an article describing KP a few days ago in which it was reported that 90,000 persons now belong. Hope all of the other 89,XXX are having great needling experiences.
Congratulations. May you enjoy many more years knitting and keeping up to date with what's going on in KP.
Happy Anniversary! I started when I was 8 as well I am 58 now! I love all the help and suggestions on KP as well! Nothing like my morning coffee and KP!
I'm 78 and still learning as well. KP has been the absolute best for me also. Happy Anniversary to you!
Happy KP anniversary , it was my 5th anniversary just over a week ago and I've been knitting for 5 years , a late starter 😄
I always enjoy the forums--need to skip over some items, but mostly enjoy reading posts, seeing ideas for new projects, being inspired to try new things, getting answers to questions and being awestruck by the work of other members. It starts my day on a good note.

How weird! Just checked my joining date and it was June 9 2012 so we’re practically twins!
Happy Anniversary on KP and thank you for the kind words. I hope you have a wonderful day!
Congratulations, thanks for sharing!

Happy Anniversary! I went on My Profile and could not see when I signed up. Where would that be?
Yes, coffee and KP. That's the way I start my day too. Happy KP Anniversary!
