This was my first time going to a crafts store tent sale. My opinion mainly is about the yarn although they sell a lot of other things, too. We got there about ten, it opened at seven. It was very busy but not a horrifying crush. I have to say I was amazed at the variety and prices. They had a good selection of fibers and prices. Some I remember off the top of my head: Carron super value (7 oz) $3; various red heart $2; Carron mill ends 1 pound $5. Many others were priced one or two dollars. They also had a decent choice of some specialty yarns for 50 cents. That new loop it yarn, that I wanted to try, some super bulky and some pooling yarn. I was impressed with myself and didn't go completely crazy and only bought what I had real plans for. The sale runs through Sunday and they seemed to have sufficient stock that they were replenishing. I didn't look at the fabric section but the prices must of been good, judging from the amount I saw people buying. I spent a total of $47 on the yarn in the picture (bottom 72 skiens)I will be going back next year.

Lucky you. I would have thought I’d died and gone to heaven seeing a shed full of yummy yarn like that. You got a very good haul for your $s. Well done on your restraint, enjoy your knitting. Jen.

Oh that looks like fun. I haven't crocheted in a very long time. Just can't seem to find anything I really like and think I can do. Glad you had a good time. N

Wow. Congrats. I'd be loaded up with Herrschners Worsted and Heritage Cotton. No way would I get out the door for $47. My last order was more than that, squishy mail arriving Friday.

Oh how exciting !
I would so love to just touch all the yarn.
I just don't need any more. I am sure what I have stashed away will last my lifetime.
But oh some of the new colors make it hard to walk away.
Good for you. Enjoy !!

Oh, I didn't get out the door for $47. I also bought 15 skiens of their worsted 8. It wasn't part of the sale so I didn't include it, but since I was there anyway... Lol. Their worsted 8 is my favorite budget acrylic for blankets.
