I had to leave my former "go-to" fiber site because they decided to become political. Looked around and "lo and behold!" here you are!
I am a long-time knitter, crocheter, quilter, sewer (I hate typing that because it always looks like I carry poo around underground!!!), weaver, and very VERY beginning spinner. I live in SE Pennsylvania and am still, unfortunately, working -- but only 4 days per week.
Right now I am gearing up for a 4-day sweater KAL with Marie Greene of Olive Knits.
Anyone else around who is doing this particular KAL?
I am looking forward to making new fiber connections and always ALWAYS learning.
I hate to tell you this, but KP also has a lot of politics on it. Be sure to stay out of the attic and the solarium to keep away from the majority of politics, but main and general chat also have political topics. If you don't like them, don't read them and don't get involved in the melee that always follows.
Other than that, KP is a great place with wonderful, helpful people. Enjoy!
Welcome from southwestern Washington state, just west of what is left of Mount St Helens. It is cozy here at KP, if you ignore some of the posts. Seems one can't get away from it in most venues.
There is so much to learn here and so many friendly and truly kind people. I start each morning with KP and coffee. Enjoy!
Welcome! Everyday I learn some new skill on KP. I stick to craft posts and ignore the opinionated ruckus. Hope you enjoy your visits on KP.
Welcome from sunny, hot, and beautiful Arizona. At the top of the page you will see a selection titled "My Profile." You can select what topics you want to see. As of lately there is a lot of political posts here...mostly in the "chat."
Welcome from Maryland. You will get plenty of help, advice, encouragement and even some laughs from the wonderful people on KP. Would love to see pictures of your finished projects.
Welcome to KP, glad you joined us 😀!
Welcome from the other end of the state. You could refer to yourself as a seamstress or seamster, and avoid referencing waste pipes.
Welcome and hello from Hazelridge Manitoba. My crafts are my get away from the daily drama, political or otherwise, I also do not want to read that poop. But you will find the person inspiring
