This small item took me nearly 4 days to finally finish..I continually made mistakes and undid it and forgot what row I was up to etc etc etc! But now that it is finally done, I am really happy with it. The colour is actually a bright tomato red and it looks great in my white and black bathroom!
Now for a mate..but maybe a pattern which doesn't require my constant focus/concentration!!!Grr Thank you Marcelley for your -gentle-encouragement.
I have attached the pattern..and I used 4ply pure cotton and cast on 62 sts. Good luck to anyone else who tries this pattern too! Thanks for looking...
It's beautiful. Congratulations on persevering.
Great job! Washcloths are great for trying out new stitch patterns.
Perseverance equal beautiful results. 👍
I really like it! You're like..won't let it kick your butt! Lol! Thanks for sharing the pattern. Think I'll make a couple.
Great you persevered, Christine! Looks an excellent stitch for the purpose- I must bookmark this, hoping to get some more of the pricey organic Italian cotton they've had in Spotlight this summer gone by, I reckon it's Worsted weight- much faster than the Chinese cotton alternative that claims it's DK but is closer to a 4ply.
My daughter promised a bank transfer for my birthday, but it's not hit the bank yet.
She's rather brilliant at birthday presents that reach me at Christmas!
Very nice. Looking forward to seeing its mate.
That is so pretty. Very nice work.
It is beautiful! Good on you for sticking it out.
