Hi dear KPers,
Does anyone have an easy to remember mattress turning process you can share?

I can never remember if I need to just turn it or it’s time to flip it...

Thank you.

Flip mattress and turn the head to face the feet. The bottom section (where your feet go) holds less body weight and therefore, less
indented". I usually turn the mattress whenever my back starts to hurt, usually every 3-6 months.

Can't flip mine. Pillow top. So I turn it when I think about it. It's due for replacing anyway.

I put a number (1,2,3,4) in the top left corner of the mattress - then I just either rotate or flip to get the next number. Mark the calendar as to when. And I also launder the mattress cover then too.

Some mattresses can only be turned - mine included.

Because a pillow top mattress can't be turned over, does that mean that they are not the best-buy-for-the-dollar choice? On top of my mattress is a separate 3" foam piece that is covered with a mattress protector. A very comfortable sleep, especially if you carry extra weight. :)

I write myself a note and keep it in the top drawer of my bedside chest.
