That's so adorable. She trusts you too! That's a good thing. Love the little robin story and will be watching for the continuation.

Thank you very much. My husband and I have had such fun watching it all happen.

I need a couple more pictures for the next episode, so it may not be for a couple of days.

Many thanks for looking and your lovely comments.

That’s how I read it but she’s obviously doing a great job with your help 🤣🤣🤣
Are you watching the the osprey cam in the highlands - dad keeps delivering large fresh trout to his 2 daughters!!

S/he is surely a vociferous ball of fluff! Such a demanding child! Mum does look worn ragged with all her hard work.

I was talking earlier with my friend Lin, who is on Alderney right now, they have been tagging Gannett's (I think I've got the species right, I have checked back, definitely Gannett's) any way, one parent was tracked to the coast of Norway and back to fetch fish for the offspring! Rather remarkable determination to do the best for the chick!

.

No. We usually watch the one in Dodd Wood in the Lake District (near Bassenthwaite) but they didn't nest in the 'right' place this year - so there is no web cam coverage of them.

I'll go look for the webcam you're watching

We have gannets at my favourite reserve - Bempton Cliffs. They are absolutely magnificent birds.

I hope you like this picture (which I have posted before, so many apologies if you have already seen it!). The middle two birds are "having fun" - but just look at the expression on the beak of the "voyeur" at the back

Great photos as were the previous ones. The Robin is our favourite bird too. We buy good quality bird food but maybe need to think of buying live meal worms to get the results you have of one landing on our hand. We Mum's know all about the hard work and exhaustion of bringing up our young so I am sure with your continued love and care mummy robin will recover soon.
