Best "case" scenario is going in with friends and dividing up the one case or dividing up the stash if everyone goes in on a case each!

I looked as soon as it popped up in my email. Great deal but unless you were making multiple shawls or afghans...... I could see a group that was making prayer shawls or Linus blankets taking advantage of it though.

That is a lot of yarn. I’m not sure what I would do with all of it.

Lion Brand keeps having these rock bottom priced sales. I can't help but wonder if something larger is at play.

I have thought the same thing. It reminds me of how restaurants will advertise for about six months to a year via Groupon, then go out of business.

These promotions have been coming hot and heavy lately, with pricing that has to be below cost. That's a lot of inventory being liquidated in a short period of time. Usually that isn't a good sign.

I'm trying to be good on my yarn diet, I've recently got rid of a fair bit of yarn......I mainly use my yarns from 4 of my containers, once they have a bit of space I might treat myself to some more yarn or if I get asked for something and I don't have the right yarn

When I ordered the Shawl in a Ball was the first time I saw the "Orchard Thread" reference. My understanding is that Lion Brand is a family owned and run business so I was surprised, but haven't had time to follow up and find the connection.
