You can get branches from outside and put the branches in a large vase and attach the butterflies to make butterfly tree, I have seen one of these and they are really cute. You also can keep a few in your pocketbook and when you are out shopping and see a little girl you could give her one, how happy she would be. Good job !

Love the tree idea thanks. I wouldn’t be giving children I don’t know gifts in the shopping centre. We try and teach our children about stranger danger here and that goes against everything they are taught. Never accept gifts from strangers.

I would only do this if a parent was with them and always ask first like in a doctors office or hospital while waiting for an appointment when children get bored. Grocery store etc.

My first thought on seeing them was how pretty they would be on a simple twig/vine wreath. They are lovely.

So cute and a fun way to use up scraps. You can always attach them to other projects. They would be great on headbands.

I could be wrong but I thought I saw a simple afghan with butterflies dotted about.

After I made butterflies like this I sewed them (flat) onto a rather dull sweater to give it a more colorful look.
