I have been looking for this book for a while. Just found it on eBay Uk but the seller tells me I should have just made her an offer, not a bid , so now have to wait till the auction ends.

Does anyone in the UK have one they are willing to sell please? I am unlikely to get it back from the person I lent it to, when will I ever learn?
Sue

It has a baby crawling on the front cover, in a multi coloured cardigan, it is NOT the Aran Book that I am looking for,

Thanks for looking.

It would be helpful if you could post a link to the eBay page so we could have a photo to reference.

Sorry, this is the one:

I don't use eBay, but can't you go back in and make an offer, even though you already bid on it?

Apparently not. She tells me I should have just made an offer of the start price , plus P&P, and she would have accepted :o(

I buy off eBay all the time but not sure of all these ' make an offer' on auctions items.

If I get , I get it, but will just keep on looking.

I brought some patterns once & the lady had written her full name all across the top, now I know why. There is no excuse not to return a pattern someone has been good enough to lend it to you. IMHO.

The price she is charging for postage is outrageous - £11.15, I'd keep looking if I were you!

Hi Deegle,
No, for me the total is £5 sterling? I would like to get the booklet but I put the request out because there are 'others' watching. If I am meant to get it I will though. :o)

Sorry about that, I forgot that there is sometimes a big difference between the cost for Ireland and the UK. Hold on, she might not get any other offers and there are still over 3 days left. I usually bid what I am prepared to spend and wait it out. As I'm sure you know if nobody else bids you get it for the lowest amount.

If you don’t win the bid put an ISO on U.K. Classified in Ravelry .
