Does anyone know of an app where I can store ALL my patterns. I have some in Ibooks, Drop Box, and Pocket. Plus I have patterns on Mary Maxim, Loveknitting and other websites. I would like to get them all in one place. Thank you for any advice.

Sure. It's called a house.
Yes, I'm being snotty. Been trying to get all my stuff organized forever. But more yarn and clothes and animals and people and stuff just keeps showing up!

I printed mine and put them in sleeves and binders. Took three days to organize and write contents but it is such a nice feeling to go and pull the one you need off the shelf without paging and paging! Have fun, you likely will get bogged down looking at those you haven't seen in awhile, lol! About the time I want to look at a pattern our internet will be down or goes out in the middle of a viewing.

I keep mine on a flash drive and back it up to an external hard drive. I have a few printed out that I keep in a binder. I only print when I want to make the item. If I knit/crocheted 24/7, I wouldn't finish everything in 2 lifetimes! LOL

My advice, weed out. Patterns are addictive, speaking for myself, I tend to save everything that catches my eye, and pretty soon, it's WAY too much. Purge, be realistic about what you will knit, and then start to organize.

Every time I try to get organized, I find myself in such a mess. My favorite friend has become a large plastic bin.....donated lots of knitting books and patterns to different Senior Centers, along with skeins of yarns (colors I would never use) and tons of straight needles. Only use circular needles now.

You must have the same house as me. I have been working on organizing things which seems like forever. I am still at it.

I store all of mine in Dropbox. The ones on external sites you’ll have to download and save to Dropbox.

If you learn a trick to organizing patterns, come to my house. Actually, i rather like the idea of printed patterns in binders. Something to browse through on a late night.

Love the Knit Companion app, download and save all PDF patterns, create projects and track your progress, add notes. I go back and review the PDFs I’ve downloaded periodically and delete those that haven’t worked out or I’ve lost interest in. One place to store patterns and track WIP projects. It integrates with Ravelry and Dropbox too!
Thank you to KPers for recommending

I struggle with the same thing. iBook doesn’t take everything. On my laptop, it’s easy...I bookmark and download to my desktop too. I can save in folders there.

But the problem is on my iPad /phone. They are all over the place because I can’t find a consistent place.

I will check Knit Companion.
