You really were up early!
In a couple of weeks time the Southern Wool Show is on not too far from here so I'm planning on going. Just looking through the list of exhibitors has me drooling already. There is one lady exhibiting called The Knitting Swede, is that you?

Bless her. That reminds me of our Miss Tiff, and she still has her own rules for human interaction, but she's made tremendous progress--your kitty will get better, I'm sure, with your care.

Oh yes, she just needs some normality I think, that's not my basement. lol
It is however, quite evident that she was eating well, she's a pudge muffin. lolol, so I'll be putting a bit of a food restriction on her for a bit and see if we can't get a pound or pound and half off her.

Another adorable pinafore, Fan!

Joy, yeah for finding your phone and being able to return the new one.

The furkids have had breakfast and I need another cuppa, I think! It was a long week and I had little sleep but did better last night.

The knitting is done on the shawl! Now I need to block and see what it actually looks like.

Wishing all a good day or night.

Oooh, goody, we'll get to see it soon!

Yes, 61 degrees this morning and I can feel the fog which must have come in to just about 5 miles south of us. Yay now I can do a little garden clean up, watering and just putter today. Hope all have awakened (or gone to bed) feeling well and happy.
KayeJo how is the new kitty this morning?

The day should be lovely, with such lower temp.

Lol, wanting petted, I think she's still got a bit of sedation left in her system, but otherwise seems just fine.

Is it just me or are onions different now , I used to be able to chop onions no problem but now my eyes sting that much that i chop onions with my eyes shut and need to stop to sip cold water while chopping them

Funny you say that....the onions we grew this year are potent!! Usually have no trouble, but end up with streaming eyes.... I never heard of drinking cold water to help, I usually run outside! Lol

Sounds like you're doing a great job with the photos, I admire all your hard work. In years to come all this hard work will be appreciated.

I need to get back to mine....thanks for motivating me again..... have only done a tiny bit this week...still have a few left of my dads youth that need documentation...then on to the 50’s when my parents married....easier for sure ..... plan to take at least part of the rough copy to dad when we visit him....only trouble is he starts reminiscing and I’m not sure how much information to include....after a while it’s people I barely recall and my children have no clue about....my DH recorded him a number of years ago, I started writing down some of it but have now paraphrased into stories.... a story is easier to read I think, than straight information. I used to tell my kids when they were overwhelmed, how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time......me thinks I need to plaster that on my wall to remind me....

Got to my mammogram a little bit early and got straight in so I was out about the time of my appointment. As I'm going away I need to ring them in a couple of weeks.
Had a Double Knitting workshop today at Guild which was useful- I'm doing an advanced class at the SWW so needed to try basic Double Knitting so it was really useful. Principle makes sense but needs a lot of concentration and think it will always need it even if I do more o fit. It looks wonderful when it is worked but very heavy for here.

Which reminds me, need to schedule mine..... received my yearly notice last week.....
I knit a scarf that way years ago..... if I recall I used very thin wool so wasn’t exceptionally heavy, but still very warm....but never have tried anything more complicated than a scarf....and that was a bit out of my comfort zone at the time....

Onions have always bothered me, unless the sweet yellow ones.

I'm up, I'm up, lol, I got a good nights sleep and am up before David, with luck, I'll have an hour or so of quiet before he wakes up and gets the house going. He wakes up way to happy and chipper for me, I need a little quiet time when I get up, he wakes up ready to play with the dogs.
I need to mop floors today, and do some weeding in the veg garden, but I think, other than that, it's a sit and knit day for me, but maybe in the backyard, as it's lovely out there.
Miss Polly wanted petted this morning, of course she thought that I should get under the bed with her to do said petting, lol, I'm not as nimble as I once was, trying to reach under the daybed while lying on my stomach and pet was not the most agile thing.
I'm up, I'm up, lol, I got a good nights sleep and... (show quote)

Thankfully my DH and I both like quiet mornings..... used to kill me when my youngest was still home, I swear she woke up talking.....🙀
