Hi there. Quite a few of you have asked to see photos of what I'm working on, especially since the Gadsden Arts Museum in Quincy, Florida, accepted my hand-knitted items and handmade cards to be sold on consignment in its shop.

I've read through all the rules about KP, and I can't find any rule that specifically pertains to this issue.

Anyway, I'll go ahead and post this. If there are _any_ rules that I may have missed pertaining to posting a link to one's Facebook page, _please_ be sure to let me know. Thank you!

The name of my FB online shop is Hazel's Born to Knit. Its website is

www.facebook.com/hazelsborntoknit

This information is also repeated in my sig line, which follows all my posts.

For those who aren't on FB: here's my non-techie ignorance. If you click on the URL, does that take you to the site? I'm hoping it does. Fingers crossed.

I don't think you have to be a member of Facebook to view my shop, but I'm not sure. Just click on the URL link--in my sig line below--or type in Hazel's Born to Knit at the Facebook search window.

I'd tried out a bunch of different sites to see which I liked most before I picked a place for my shop. Many of you gave me great guidance with that issue, and I've been very grateful. I really wanted to be on Etsy.com--I'd had a shop on there years ago, and it was easy to set up and it has a nice search function--but I found that, after over two hours' perusal and work, I still hadn't gotten anywhere near finishing setting up my site. Etsy's gotten, at least for me, a whole lot more complicated.

I checked out the "free" website pages, and of course nothing is free. You can get an introductory period of time on these sites for your shop, but then you need to start to pay. Many of them were also extremely complicated for me. Many of them had built-in templates that you couldn't get away from and that didn't have anything to do with me or what I was showcasing and selling. One or two were easy to use but extremely clunky and unattractive and couldn't be manipulated at all.

So, I kind of ended up on Facebook, which I'm mainly on to share animals who desperately need to find homes, particularly senior animals and animals with special needs. I'm also on an excellent, closed FB forum for those who have neurological facial pain, which I do, and which is run by the Facial Pain Association in Gainesville, Florida. (If anyone has questions about neurological facial pain and would like to PM me, I'd be glad to respond and point you in the right direction to find help. There are SO many types of neurological facial pain! I certainly didn't know that until I came down with it out of the blue in 2016.) And I love my old home town in upstate New York, so I'm on closed FB pages that deal with it. That's about it for my involvement with FB. Aside, of course, for my shop.

I have a ton of photos, descriptions, and prices in my Facebook shop. I'm not sure that you have to be a member of FB in order to go to my shop. Try clicking on the URL that's in my sig line. Or use the search function--either on FB, Google, Yahoo, whatever--and look for Hazel's Born to Knit. It should come up.

Someone commented that she went to my shop and did not see any photos. If you go to my shop, Hazel's Born to Knit, and page down, you should see photos of all my work, plus descriptions and prices. Just keep paging down.

It took me a long time to download photos to my shop, and there are a _lot_ of photos. I've posted some of them here on KP. I hope that you can find them.

The URL for my shop is in my sig line, which appears at the end of all my KP posts.

Many times, I'll hunt for something on Google, and what I'm looking for turns out to be a Facebook page or shop. I then click on the URL and am taken there. As far as I know, you don't have to belong to Facebook to view pages or shops on it.

Anyway, hope that helps.

Oh. OK. Although clicking on someone's FB page doesn't connect you to FB; you just visit and then leave.

Thanks much for the good luck wishes! I appreciate them immensely!
