The base pattern is, as usual, Waterwheel 890. I have used this simple slip stitch element several times before and I think it works well with the bright pink. It's worked on an uneven number of stitches and in this cardigan the two pink rows that make the line are as follows:-
Row 1 - knit 1, *slip 1 purlways, knit 1, repeat from * to end of row
Row 2 - knit 1, *yarn forward, slip 1 purlways, yarn back, knit 1, repeat from * to end of row.
I did 6 rows of white stocking stitch in between pattern rows.
Really lovely. Thank you for the extra stitch directions.
That is lovely, buttons just gorgeous
Another beautiful sweater
You really know how to make beautiful sweaters using the same pattern. They look totally different.
Always lovely and you are so kind to share your design elements!! Sue x
Very cute - love the buttons, too!
This looks AWESOME in the contrasting colours
While I really like all of your baby sweaters, I think that you really have a special one here! Those colors together and that stitch design are priceless!
